Torch Theatre Summer School

Running since 2009, our popular annual summer school at Torch Theatre is open to all and is focused on offering affordable access to high quality creative experiences led by professional dance artists to the community in Pembrokeshire. Working with a different theme each year, and linked to our professional performance projects, this summer school is totally inclusive. We aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment for people of all backgrounds and abilities to come together, create and perform with us. Scroll down for this year's info...

Summer School 2024- OUTside in

This year we will be working with the theme of "Outside-In". Bringing the outdoors into our studio. We will be exploring different aspects of nature and bringing the theme creativity into a performance on the last day.

As per our usual Summer School format everyone is welcome. We will split into three separate groups based on age and everyone gets supported and challenged. We will have professional artists leading classes and workshops and everyone will be involved creatively in making the show. You'll have technique classes to learn new moves and choreography sessions in which you create your own moves to perform in the show.
